FAILSWORTH residents can speak to police about community concerns tomorrow at the latest neighbourhood police meeting at Failsworth Health Centre, Ashton Road West, from 11am to 1pm.
VOLUNTEERS are still needed to help out at the 51st annual Failsworth Carnival weekend and parade on June 8 and 9 at Lord Lane Playing Fields. To lend a hand and for more information visit www.failsworthcarnival.btck.co.uk
JOIN members of the Over 60s club on Thursday at their latest meeting at The Pavilion, Green Lane, Garden Suburb, from 2 to 3.45pm. The group meet fortnightly.
DIG out your leg warmers and sign up to an adult ballet class on Tuesdays at Canon George Hall, Chapel Road, Hollinwood, from 8.15 to 9.15pm. £5 per class, no experience needed, for adults aged 16 to 20.
SCHOOL’S out for pupils at Failsworth School and Oasis Academy Limeside on Friday for a week-long break. Pupils will be back at their desks on Monday, June 3.
A TALK on North American Indian Women will be the topic of the next meeting by the Failsworth Historical Society on June 5, at Broadbent Luncheon Club, Lord Lane, Failsworth, 7pm. All welcome.
THE Failsworth and Beyond Womens Institute (FaB WI) will be holding a baked good stall next month filled with delicious home- baked cakes, jams and home made items. Join them at Failsworth Carnival, Lord Lane playing fields, on Saturday, June 8.
