SONGS, stories and rhymes, sensory play and musical instruments will keep babies up to 18 months entertained at Bounce and Rhyme on Thursday, at Limehurst Library, St Chad’s Centre, Limehurst, from 2.15 to 3pm.
FAILSWORTH residents can discuss community concerns and safety issues at a Homewatch meeting on Thursday at Broadbent Luncheon Club, Lord Lane, from 7.30 to 9pm. All are welcome.
MEMBERS of the Failsworth and Beyond Womens Institute (FaB WI) will be selling home baked cakes, jams and craft items on Saturday at a table top sale at St John’s Church Mission Hall, Church Street, Failsworth. from 10am to noon.
ENJOY family fun at the Oldham Garden Suburb Association (OGSA) Summer Flower and Craft Show on Saturday, from 2 to-4pm, at The Pavilion, Green Lane. Cake stall, tuck shop, raffle, plants, bric a brac and more. Judging categories include crafts, flowers, children’s activities and baking. Show entries must be submitted to The Pavilion between 7 and 9pm on Friday.
A TEDDY Bear’s picnic is being hosted on Monday, July 15, from 1.15 to 2.45pm, at Grassroots Community Project, Marlborough Drive, Failsworth, by Failsworth Children’s Centre. Bring your favourite teddy bear, picnic and blanket. Call the centre 0161-770 8398 to book a place.
