Job help

Limehurst Library is holding a free service for job seekers on Thursday from 1-3pm, which will include help with CVs, filling in application forms and getting that job.


A Police surgery will be held at Failsworth Health Centre tomorrow, 10am-11am.


A Macmillan coffee morning will be held in the mission hall at St John’s Church, Pole Lane, on Friday at 10am. Cakes can be donated and dropped off on Thursday between 7 and 8pm.


Roman Road Independent Methodist Church is holding a church breakfast on Sunday at 8.45am, offering the chance to make new friends. Hot and cold food available.


Flower arranging societies from across the North-West are staging a fund-raiser for the Mayor of Oldham’s charity appeal. The event takes place at Daisy Nook garden centre on Friday and Saturday, 9am-5pm, and Sunday, 10.30am-4.30pm.


Failsworth Townswomen’s Guild holds its monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 1, at 7.30pm at Failsworth Library.
