Forum’s focus

RESIDENTS are invited to the Hollinwood Community Forum meeting at Oasis Academy tonight at 6pm. The meeting will focus on crime prevention methods and tackling anti-social behaviour.

There will also be a chance for people to meet local councillors and police inspector Muz Kernain.

SWAP a mundane commute home for a lively discussion at the Failsworth Library tomorrow. Every month, from 5.30-6.30pm, the Rush Hour Readers’ Group explore new authors and different genres. New members are always welcome. For more information, call 0161-770 8000.

ARE you or do you know someone between the ages of 10-18 in need of something to do? The Middleton and Chadderton Sea cadets meet every Monday and Thursday evenings in Failsworth. Youngsters will have the opportunity to do a variety of tasks which could take them all across the country. THE Hollinwood Festival planning meeting takes place at 2pm on Friday, January 31, at the Contour Homes office on Hollins Road. All are welcome.


DADS can bring their pre-school children to the Roman Road IM Church this Saturday for a morning packed full of activities such as games and crafts. The session takes place in the church hall from 10.30am-noon.
