SHARE experiences and learn new skills at a childminders’ drop-in session at Failsworth Children’s Centre on Propps Hall Drive on Thursday from 9.30am-12.30pm.

THE Failsworth and Beyond (FaB) Women’s Institute is celebrating its fifth birthday tomorrow by having a special supper at the regular meeting place, the Middleton and Chadderton Sea Cadets, from 7.30pm onwards.
THERE will be a table-top sale at Holy Family Parish RC Church, Roman Road, from 10am until noon on Saturday. Admission is only 20p and there will be a cafe serving refreshments. For more information, call 0161-681 3872.
ANYONE with complex needs can take part in crafts, dance and various other activities with their carers at the Roman Road IM Church’s WOW Prospects Group tomorrow from 1.30pm. Admission is £2 and 50p for carers.
GET ready to start cooking at the Failsworth Youth Centre on Friday at 6pm, where visitors can learn to cook new and interesting dishes.
OLDHAM symphony orchestra is having a concert on Saturday from 4.30pm at the Salvation Army Community Church. Tickets, priced £10 for adults, £6 for concession and £3 for juniors, are available from Shirley Rainey on 01457-877 743 or pay on the door.
GET tech-savvy at Failsworth Library’s online basics sessions on Monday. Starting at 10am, visitors will learn how to use a computer and how to browse the internet.
