Failsworth will be getting its own Christmas market in Partington Street on December 20.
Those wishing to set up a stall on the day can do so by contacting Mike at enquiries@littlerascals-cheekymonkeys.co.uk. The family fun-day will also include a visit from Santa, carol, festive face painting and more.
INTRODUCE your baby to the joys of Christmas at tomorrow’s Baby Days Christmas fun event at Limehurst Library. From 9.30am, there will be games and song with a festive twist. Christmas fancy dress is welcome.
THE “Night Before Christmas” is the book of the week at the Baby Book Club session next Monday. The session takes place at Failsworth Children’s Centre, on Propps Hall Drive, from 2pm.
WARM up your vocal chords for the Christmas carol service at the Salvation Army Church, on Oldham Road, from 10.30am on Sunday.
CALLING all dads, grandads and stepdads. Pick up a special pack and explore Limehurst Library on Saturday with the children from 10am.
MEET your local officers and share any concerns about neighbourhood policing this Thursday at Clough Gate House, off Hollins Road, from 11am-noon. There is an opportunity to meet officers later at Asda from 3pm. Failsworth residents can turn up to a police surgery on Monday from 10am at Failsworth Library.
A MUSICAL treat is in store for visitors to Daisy Nook Garden Centre on Saturday. The Belle Vue Brass Band will be entertaining everyone from 10am-1pm. On Sunday, see your favourite animals from 11am-4pm.
