Founder members of the band The Visitors, Jack Bottomley-Clift (left) and Charles Cotton are leaving to move to London
REMEMBER the Visitors, the ace original Oldham rock n' roll band who were forced to call it a day last summer?
Well, in a roundabout way, they're back, thanks to the news that front-man Jack Bottomley-Clift and guitarist Charles Cotton have got a new band together - in London!
Supremely talented pair Jack and Charles headed off to the capital last summer to take up studies at the prestigious BIMM (British and Irish Modern Music Institute) college.
It was a shame that time had to be called on the Visitors, but Jack and Charles' new, as yet unnamed band, will play their first gig at the Kings Arms in Putney on February 28.
Charles and Jack are joined in their new band by drummer Nick Holt, bassist Lindsay Fraser Craig, and guitarist Jake Clements.
