A WORKER on ATP production at Chadderton
FROM the Lancaster to the Vulcan, Tornado and ATP, for the past 73 years the workforce at the Greengate site of BAE has been involved in making some of the most important planes produced by the British aerospace industry.
This photograph shows technicians assembling the massive jigsaw of pieces into the ATP passenger plane. Employees got a sense of pride as the components they put together resulted in the completion of a fighter or commercial plane.
