Head Boy and Head Girl Leave A* Legacy at The Radclyffe School

The Radclyffe School is delighted to announce its best ever GCSE results of 91% A*-Cs (51% including English and Maths) by its Year 11 cohort this academic year. This builds on the consistently high standard of academic achievement established at the school in recent years.

The Radclyffe School is also celebrating excellent individual performances from its highest achievers. The 2011/12 Deputy Head Boy Harvey Jones, was the star performer recording an array of 13½ A* and A grades. The Head Boy (Nazmul Khan) and Head Girl (Laura Broome) will also leave The Radclyffe School with a legacy of 11 and 9½ A* and A grades respectively. Tahmid Alam, Clara Harvey Hunt and Ehsan Javaid have also performed to their high potential, Tahmid and Clara gaining 10 and Ehsan gaining 9½ A* and A grades. Mandana Neakhjad achieved 16½ A*-C GCSE equivalents and Yukhsaee Tariq achieved 15, a reflection of the diverse curriculum and qualification opportunities provided by The Radclyffe School.

Headteacher, Mr Hardial Hayer says: ‘This is another strong set of results which continues The Radclyffe School ethos of striving towards excellence. We have maintained our high standards of success and I am delighted that the hard work of the students and staff has been rewarded with a successful set of GCSE results. At The Radclyffe School we continually strive to challenge all of our students to reach their academic and personal potential, it will be fantastic to see so many of them celebrating their achievements this morning and we wish each of them every success in the future.’
