Host a Blue Day for Dr K

Date published: 04 February 2013

IS your school, office or workplace beginning to catch FA Cup fever?

Then why not hold a Blue Day for Dr K - show your support for Latics and raise money for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice at the same time.

All you have to do is get your school, office or workplace to host a Blue Day for Dr K in the next ten days and get everyone to enjoy a dress-down, fancy dress or non-uniform day dressed in blue in exchange for a £1 donation.

Let us know when you are holding your Blue Day for Dr K and we will come along to take photographs. Once you pay in your money we will give you a copy of the Chronicle with your photograph in and specially printed Chronicle Cup posters for each of the participants.

All the profits will go to the Royton hospice. It’s great fun and raises money for a great charity.

To contact a photographer, please contact 0161 633 2121.

To send your donations in, so that we can send it all to Dr Kershaw’s directly, please contact the Promotions Department on 0161 622 2130.

Don’t miss today's Evening Chronicle for your free Keep the Faith FA Cup poster. Put it in your window to win cash prizes every night next week and get a signed Latic’s shirt.

Look out for our special 20-page edition that takes a nostalgic look back at FA Cup matches in the past. This will go on sale across newsagents and supermarkets on Tuesday, February 12.

And, of course, on Friday, February 15, we'll be carrying a full preview of the game before Saturday’s Everton tie.

So get your Blue Day for Dr K organised and get everybody involved in this memorable event.
