MUSIC EXTRA: TICKETS are selling fast for the Gramotones’ headline show at Manchester’s iconic Band on the Wall on June 26.
The harmonic foursome from Oldham and Bury will be selling their new single on the night — “Corporate Whipping Boy” — and will play a set of both new and old material.
Jake, Sid, James and Ryan, who went down a storm at the recent Great Escape festival in Brighton, will feature Smiths cover “London” as the B-side to their upcoming single.

TICKETS are on sale for York’s Apollofestival next month, set to be headlined by Oldham’s Inspiral Carpets. The Madchester legends will have Space as their main support on Saturday, June 27, while Shed Seven frontman Rick Witter will be playing his own “Disco Down” DJ set.

Tickets are still available for Matt, Joe and Ross’s appearance at Manchester’s Ruby Lounge on Saturday, June 6, when they support Blackpool’s Ska Face.
FOLLOWING Paul McGladdery and the Uncommitted’s successful gig at the Lees Live Lounge last weekend, the Bank Top Tavern is set to be packed again on Saturday for the folk outfit’s latest appearance.
