DANNY GRIMSHAW . . . operation
ONE of the country's leading surgeons will repair Oldham RL centre Danny Grimshaw's damaged groin in Leicester on December 9.
The same surgeon, no stranger to Leicester City and the Foxes' Premier League football stars, operated on Grimshaw's other groin a few years ago.
He is expected to be back in light training soon, as is Roughyeds new boy Nathan Chappell, who will have a knee cleaned-out surgically tomorrow.
Prop Joe Burke, who was given time off after playing for Wales in three World Cup qualifiers, will be back in pre-season training with Scott Naylor's men within the next few days.
Fans are reminded that tomorrow is the last day for using three staged payments to buy season tickets on line. For more information go to www.roughyeds.co.uk and follow links. For single payments, the current discounted prices are valid to December 23.
