OLDHAM RL duo Nathan Chappell (knee) and Danny Grimshaw (groin) have both had successful surgery and will soon be heavily involved in rehabilitation.
Neither player is expected to be out for long.
Craig Briscoe, who is waiting for major reconstruction surgery on a knee, will have his pre-op on December 20 and his operation in January.
Oldham chairman Chris Hamilton said: "Craig's first season with us was disrupted by this injury. Once he's had his operation he'll be able to start out on the road to recovery, although we know it's going to be a long job,"
Fans are reminded that season tickets for 2017 at the current discounted prices are available until December 23, either for purchase online at www.roughyeds.co.uk or at the club office at Whitebank between 9.30am and 1.30 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Fridays.
Match-day prices are the same as last year, but season tickets are marginally cheaper than 2016 and include, for the first time, the Summer Bash game against derby rivals Rochdale Hornets at Bloomfield Road, Blackpool.
