OLDHAM RL outscored hosts Halifax by three tries to two, but left West Yorkshire empty-handed in the Kingstone Press Championship clash.

Kieran Gill, Joe Burke and Jamel Chisholm went in for the Roughyeds at The Shay. Scott Leatherbarrow kicked one goal.

Ben Johnston and James Saltonstall replied for Fax, with Steve Tryer landing four goals which proved crucial.
