OLDHAM are offering dual-ticket discounts for the upcoming friendly clashes with Super League sides at Boundary Park.

The matches concerned are those between the Roughyeds and Huddersfield Giants, on Friday, and Leeds Rhinos, on Tuesday, February 17 (both 7.45pm kick-offs).

Fans purchasing tickets for both matches at the same time will save up to £8 (adults) and £10 (pensioners). Adults can watch both games for £20, pensioners and students for £10 and under-16s for £5.

The deal gets going at noon today, with the tickets available from the Roughyeds’ office on Lansdowne Road, Chadderton, which is open until 6pm tonight and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The office shuts at 4.30pm on Friday but purchases can also be made at the Boundary Park ticket office from 5.30pm up until the kick-off of the Huddersfield game.

However, the club is advising fans to get hold of their tickets as soon as possible to avoid congestion on the night.

Season ticket holders from last season will get free admission to the Leeds game in lieu of last July’s game against Doncaster, where admission was provided in exchange for a minimum £1 charity donation.

Special passes for the Leeds game must be picked up from Lansdowne Road from noon today onwards, on production of 2008 season ticket passes if at all possible.

Last year’s season ticket holders can still benefit from this latest offer, though, by purchasing an advance ticket for the Huddersfield game at a special price of £10 (adults), £5 (pensioner or student) and £2.50 (under-16s).

The Roughyeds squad was unable to train on Saturday morning due to frost, which also did for Sunday’s scheduled game against Swinton at Sedgley Park RUFC.
