Double Siddal boost for Lee

LEE Greenwood had plenty to celebrate at the weekend.

As well as playing his part in Oldham's win against Swinton, the former Halifax and Leigh winger was on the touchline in his capacity as coach of Siddal the day before, as his side played out the BARLA National Cup final against Wigan St Cuthbert's at Fylde RUFC.

Siddal won the game 38-14, to complete a memorable double. The cup victory followed up the Halifax side’s recent National Conference League title and they became the first team to achieve such a feat since West Hull managed it in 2001.
