ROUGHYEDS chief executive Chris Hamilton has issued a rallying cry to supporters to come out in force in Leigh tomorrow.
With free transport to and from the ground for the Featherstone clash for all those purchasing tickets from the Oldham club, the hope is that the prospect of a closely-fought cup tie in the sun will entice still more fans to make the late decision to get along to the match.
“It is a very important game for us,” said Mr Hamilton.
“It is the first time we have had a ‘home’ draw in the quarter-finals and the second time we have reached this stage of the competition, having also done so last season.
“While we face difficult circumstances in that we are not able to play at Boundary Park, we are hoping that the fans will still get right behind us.”
The ticket office is open until 6pm tonight — free coach places are still available — and supporters are able to purchase tickets from the Roughyeds offices up until 3pm on the day of the game.
Tickets can also be bought from the ground before the match (7.30pm kick off).
