ROUGHYEDS owner Chris Hamilton will meet up with more players today as squad-building efforts for next season continue.
Currently, Oldham have no contracted players for 2010, with pre-season preparatory work due to begin with the resumption of training a week on Monday.
However, Hamilton is confident that the situation will change soon and has been in regular contact with coach Tony Benson, currently in New Zealand and back in the country next week, concerning player targets.
One player who could be on the Roughyeds’ radar for next year is full-back or wing Gavin Dodd (pictured).
The former Oldham player left Widnes Vikings at the end of last season and may be looking for a club closer to home.
The Roughyeds will travel to Spotland for the Law Cup game against Rochdale on January 3 (3pm).
Tickets will be £10 (£5 concessions).
