MORE talks and developments in Oldham Rugby League Club’s pursuit of a new home in the borough, with Oldham Council assistance, have taken place.
Roughyeds are unable yet to make a definitive announcement, but club owner and chairman Chris Hamilton is hoping there will be a positive result to the talks soon.
He said: “We are conscious, as is everyone else involved in the current negotiations, of the ticking clock and the fact that the new season is drawing ever nearer.
“The fact that we are unable yet to release definitive news continues to frustrate, but that doesn’t mean nothing is happening. Plenty is going on behind the scenes as we try to work towards a positive outcome for the club.”
“We are making as many preparations as we can for the new season and as far as our proposed new home is concerned we hope to be in a position to say something soon.”
