Oldham secure new sponsor deal

OLDHAM Rugby League Club have forged a new business partnership with AMP Wire of Chadderton.
As part of the link-up, the company are supplying and fitting several gates at the club's new Whitebank Stadium ground – including main gates into the eight-acre complex – as well as sponsoring the dug-outs and Oldham’s goalkicker.
"We have also told the club we will help in any other way we can while they are getting established at Whitebank," said AMP Wire's managing director Pam Pelham.
The gates were made by Roughyeds fan Pete Mellor, a supervisor and fabricator at AMP for the last 12 years.
Said Pete: "As a keen Oldham supporter I love the set-up at Whitebank. The potential is enormous.
“I'm sure that in a year or two the ground will be unrecognisable from what it is today."
Rachael Marsters, the Roughyeds' commercial manager, said: "It is hugely encouraging to find Oldham companies so supportive.
“We are extremely grateful to AMP Wire for their backing on various fronts and trust that the partnership will be of mutual benefit."
