ROUGHYEDS ROUND UP:
JOHN HOUGH’S reserves are aiming to improve on a record of one win and one loss when taking on Featherstone, in the second string’s first-ever match at the Whitebank Stadium tonight (8pm kick-off).
Featherstone are well-known to Oldham after the two teams met three weeks ago, with the Roughyeds going down 42-30 in a physical and competitive affair.
That defeat was followed up by a 26-18 triumph over York and Hough will be looking for a repeat show in the first of eight league matches to take place at Whitebank.
Admission for the floodlit game is £4 adults, £2 concessions and free for under-16s, and seats in the stand are available to all for no extra charge on a first-come basis. The clubhouse will be open.
Parking will cost £1 as usual and everyone is asked to use the car parks and not to park in the streets.
