Oldham reveal ticket prices

FOR the first time in its 14-year history, Oldham RLFC (1997) Ltd has announced match-day and season-ticket prices knowing that every home game in 2011 will be played on the club’s own ground in the town.
“That’s a massive milestone in the club’s development,” said chairman Chris Hamilton, who steered Roughyeds into their new home at the Whitebank Stadium half-way through last season to end 13 years of wandering.
Now, the club is looking forward to a full 2011 campaign at Whitebank following a transitional season in which the first five home games were played out of town at Sedgley Park RUFC in Whitefield.
Admission increases for next season, say the club, merely put Roughyeds in line with what their rival clubs are charging and also take into account that VAT will rise to 20-per-cent in January.
Turnstile admission prices will be £12 adults, £10 concessions and £4 for under-16s compared with last season’s £10, £8 and £3 respectively.
Season-tickets, on sale from 9am tomorrow, cover all home league games except play-off matches as well as two home Northern Rail Cup games and a Carnegie Challenge Cup third-round tie.
Standing season tickets are £125 adults, £105 concessions (over-65s in line with RFL policy and instruction) and £30 for under-16s. The under-16s ticket includes all home and away league matches; home and away games in the Northern Rail Cup up to and including the quarter-final; and Carnegie Challenge Cup ties up to and including the quarter-final providing Oldham are still involved.
Prices for adults and concessions represent savings of approximately 20-per-cent against match-day prices.
Season-ticket holders who want a seat will be charged £150 (adults), £130 (concessions) and £55 (under-16s).
All season-ticket prices are applicable up to noon on December 24, 2010. Seats will be available to existing seat season-ticket holders only (those who upgraded during last season) on a first-come basis until 5pm on Friday, November 5, and last season’s ticket books will need to be shown as proof. After November 5, seats will go on general sale.
Unlike last season, seats will be numbered and tickets allocated to specific seats. A seating plan is available at the club office in Lansdowne Road, Chadderton, telephone (0161) 628 3677.
Any unsold seats in the main stand will be available on payment of a £2 transfer on a match-to-match basis.
