Roughyeds media manager Roger Halstead led Oldham and Rochdale Hornets out on to the field at the Whitebank Stadium to lead a minutes silence.
Roger carried a rugby ball dedicated to the memory of Colin Clarke, father of Oldham player Chris, who died earlier in the week.
A minute’s silence was held before kick-off for both Colin and lifelong fan Clifford Bardsley, who also passed away.
