Oldham hail home draw

OLDHAM have welcomed a Carnegie Challenge Cup fourth-round draw which brings Barrow Raiders to Whitebank twice in two weeks.
They are here this Sunday in a Co-operative Championship One top-of-the-table clash (3pm kick-off) and they will be back a fortnight later for the cup tie.
“It’s an interesting tie and it will certainly add more spice to this weekend’s league game,” said Roughyeds chief Chris Hamilton.
He added: "We will know a lot more about each other after Sunday. Our tie is the only one in which a side from our division is guaranteed to advance to the fifth round and that’s an opportunity that both ourselves and Barrow will be keen to grasp.
“As the home team, we have to make the most of that advantage.”
