Knee scan for McCully
Date published: 03 July 2012
MARK McCully, the Oldham RL centre, will have a scan today on a longstanding knee injury.
It forced him on to the sideline earlier in the season, but he has been able to play in recent weeks while waiting for a date for the scan.
He and the club’s medical team will assess the situation when the results are known.
Paul Noone’s ankle injury, which he has had since the game at London Skolars on April 22, will be assessed when the players report for training tonight.
He was able to complete Sunday’s game at Whitehaven, but he complained afterwards that the joint was still painful.
Roughyeds don’t play again until July 15, at home to seventh-placed London Skolars.
After that they have still to play Doncaster and Workington at Whitebank and South Wales, Barrow Raiders and Gateshead Thunder away.
