Benson delight at improvement

TONY Benson was pleased at the improvement his side showed in their 44-12 victory over South Wales Scorpions in Neath.

Benson says his team now has its confidence back after winning two games in a row.

And with Barrow Raiders next up in two weeks, he believes this form has come at the right time.

“It was a good performance but I’m pleased to have next week off,” he said. “We’ve a tough game against Barrow, we’ve two weeks to prepare and we’ll use that time well. We’ve done well over the last couple of weeks but we’ll need to go up another level.”
