Promotion still on the cards – Rob

UPBEAT . . . Roughyeds boss Tony Benson
ROB Foxen, whose loan spell at Oldham is to continue, says Roughyeds are still involved in the Championship One promotion battle.
"By winning our last two games we have put ourselves back in the mix," said the Swinton Lions winger.
Lions have agreed to let Foxen stay at Whitebank until the end of the season, but now on a week-to-week basis which allows them to recall him at any time.
Said Foxen: "I just hope I can see out the season at Oldham and add something to the promotion fight.
"I know it's a long shot, but stranger things have happened. There's a great mood in the camp.”
For once, Roughyeds will be willing derby rivals Rochdale to victory over Whitehaven at Spotland on Sunday (3pm).
A Whitehaven win would take the Cumbrians six points clear of Oldham in the three-club battle for the fourth and final promotion spot.
If Hornets win and deny the Cumbrians a bonus point, both clubs would be three points ahead of Oldham, each with four to play.
Said Roughyeds boss Tony Benson: "We've got our confidence back now and we're ready for anything. Promotion is definitely a possibility.”
