OLDHAM RL have confirmed they will defend the Law Cup in the traditional pre-season derby clash with Rochdale Hornets at Spotland on February 17 (3pm).
No tickets will be sold in advance: it will be £10 adults, £8 concessions (over-65s) and £3 for under-16s at the turnstiles.
Coach Scott Naylor would like to see his new-look squad in more warm-up games, but acknowledges they are proving difficult to arrange because Super League and Championship fixtures start a month earlier than those in Championship One.
Roughyeds are waiting for other clubs to respond to invitations for friendlies. So far only the Law Cup game has been confirmed.
Rochdale will have had two practice games by the time they take on Oldham
The Roughyeds' Supporters' Association (ORSA) will meet at Whitebank tomorrow at 8pm.
All fans are welcome and newcomers wishing to join the club’s official supporters' organisation can do so on the night.
