IN launching a new Squad Strengthener fund for 2013, the Oldham Roughyeds Supporters' Association (ORSA) has revealed that a trial run in 2012 raised £2,300.
It was used to assist in signing Miles Greenwood; to contribute to loan player Rob Foxen's wages and to help in acquiring Jamie Dallimore's services for 2013.
The new scheme will be run and independently of the club and for the sole purpose of bringing new players to Whitebank.
Fans will be asked to back Squad Strenghtener 2013 by contributing in units of £5, each unit to be entered into a draw for three separate prizes.
The minimum donation is £5, but there is no upper limit; one-off donation or regular donation..
Cheques should be made payable to ORSA Squad Strengthener and sent to Sheila Somerville at 48, Great Meadow, Shaw OL2 7PX.
