Full-on Oldham delight Naylor

SCOTT Naylor will believe he has achieved something at Oldham when every club in the division regards his Roughyeds as a tough nut to crack.
Having conceded 48 points at North Wales Crusaders in the previous game, he was “made up” by his side’s offering against Rochdale, which restricted them to 10 points.
The Oldham coach said: “First and foremost I want any team of mine to be difficult to beat.
“We were exactly that in this game, and I’ll take that every week because I know we have the ability and the players to score points.
“Last week was tough after losing at Wrexham in the first game. We tried not to dwell on it, but to put the focus instead firmly on Rochdale.
“After such a great team performance as this I can only describe the team’s character, effort and mental attitude as outstanding.”
