Hough back at Rochdale
Date published: 20 March 2013
BEATEN twice already by Oldham this season, Rochdale Hornets have re-signed half-back Chris Hough ahead of the new Kingstone Press Championship One season.
Oldham-born Hough (31) finished 2012 as caretaker player-coach at Spotland after John Stankevitch resigned. He had an eye on possible promotion to head coach, but the job went to Ian Talbot of St Helens as part of the link-up between Rochdale and Saints.
Oldham start and finish their Kingstone Press Championship One campaign against the old enemy, whom they play at Whitebank on Good Friday (March 29) and at Spotland on Thursday, August 15 in a game to be televised live by Premier Sports.
Before then, Roughyeds go to South Wales on Sunday (3pm) in their fourth and final NRC group game, while the under-20s take on South Wales under-20s at Whitebank on Saturday (2.30pm kick off).
