Oldham settle £6,000 tax bill
Date published: 16 April 2013
OLDHAM RL Club has paid its outstanding tax debt of just over £6,000.
News of a winding-up petition for that amount from HMRC, to be heard in the High Court on April 22, broke last Thursday when the club assured fans its immediate future was secure.
Roughyeds chairman Chris Hamilton says the club's tax liabilities are now up to date.
But doubts today surround the future of Jamie Dallimore.
The goal-kicking half-back was left out of the Oldham squad that won so convincingly at Gloucestershire All Golds on Sunday.
Talks are apparently taking place to see whether the 23-year-old, who nailed-down a regular first-team spot last season, still has a future at the club.
