RUGBY:
SCRUM-HALF Marc Sneyd has agreed a new deal with Salford City Reds.
The former Waterhead teenage star has penned a contract with the Super League club until 2015.
“I have been at Salford a long time now and I want to be here while all this exciting stuff is going on,” said Sneyd (22), who has made his way through the City Reds’ academy system.
Meanwhile, Salford have been fined £10,000 for fielding 14 players during their recent Super League win over Castleford but will be allowed to keep the two points.
