Hooker OK for Crusaders face-off

ADAM Files, Oldham RL Club’s top try scorer, suffered a broken nose in the hard-fought 30-22 win against London Skolars.
Hooker Files (20), who heads the try list with nine, will be checked out at training tonight, but is expected to play in Sunday’s clash at Wrexham with unbeaten league leaders North Wales Crusaders.
He was injured before he burrowed his way through a clutch of defenders from dummy half to score the try which sealed Roughyeds’ triumph two minutes from the end.
The try extended his scoring run to seven games in a row: “He’s tough. He’ll be okay to play this weekend,” said a club spokesman.
The game, at the Glyndwr University Racecourse Stadium, kicks off half an hour earlier than usual at 2.30pm.
Oldham could go head-to-head with their former half-back Jamie Dallimore, who made his home debut for the Welsh side in last Sunday’s 66-4 romp against Gloucester.
Coach Clive Griffiths has three half-backs to choose from — Jamie Durbin and Andy Mousdale, his regular combination, and Dallimore.
Only prop Phil Joy represents Oldham in the latest Premier Sports Championship One team of the week.
