Cup home bow for new Bulls supremo
Date published: 27 March 2014
OLDHAM will square up to Super League outfit Bradford Bulls in their first home game since new owner Marc Green took charge.
Bulls have won twice this season, but having been deducted six points for going into administration they go to Widnes Vikings on Sunday propping up the league on minus two points.
They then face Roughyeds at the Provident Stadium in a fourth-round Tetley’s Challenge Cup tie on Sunday, April 6 (2pm kick off).
Oldham have played Super League opposition six times in the last 12 years, but they haven’t played Bradford or visited Odsal since the old club went bust in 1997.
Roughyeds took good support to St Helens in 2012 and to Hull FC in 2011 and they expect to do the same this time. All fans will be accommodated in the main stand, which seats 5,000.
