Roughyeds pair in team of the week

OLDHAM duo Mo Agoro and Danny Langtree are included in the Kingstone Press Championship One team of the week on the strength of their performances in the 38-12 defeat at Hunslet Hawks.

Right-wing Agoro’s early try, in which he plucked a Lewis Palfrey cross kick out of the air to score in the corner, cancelled out Hunslet’s opening strike thanks to Palfrey’s superb touchline conversion.

Langtree, in the second-row, was the Roughyeds’ best forward, often pushing his nose through the collision and getting his hands free before finding team-mates with quality passes.

Tony Benson’s Oxford, who come to Whitebank in Oldham’s next game on May 4, also have two players in the mythical top team – Callum Mulkeen at centre and Michael Crabtree on the wing.
