Agoro wings it to Hawks

MO Agoro spent two seasons at Whitebank.
FLYING winger Mo Agoro has signed for Hunslet Hawks.
Agoro’s Oldham contract expired at the end of the Kingstone Press Championship One campaign. The 21-year-old Leeds Rhinos youth product enjoyed two successful years with the Roughyeds, but has now been snapped up by his former club’s Championship One Grand Final conquerors.
Leeds-based Agoro said: “Hunslet is a great club who are progressing every year, and I’m looking forward to being a part of it. I’ll be excited to get the chance to play in the new-look Championship for my new club.”
Hawks’ Director of Rugby Darren Williams said: “It’s a great opportunity for Mo, joining his local team and playing at a higher level.”
Agoro scored 18 tries for Oldham last season — three fewer than Oldham’s top scorer Dale Bloomfield — but he fell out of favour in the final few games before the Grand Final decider. He was one of five nominees for the Championship One young player-of-the-year award.
