TICKETS are still available for Oldham Rugby League Club’s annual dinner and 2014 awards night at Whitebank on Saturday.
Players, including new signings headed by George Tyson, will take centre stage as the club reflects on its achievements in 2014 and examines its prospects for 2015 in the restructured Kingstone Press League One.
Last season’s match-by-match video highlights will provide big-screen viewing and players will be interviewed on stage as they are called up to receive their individual trophies.
Top award will be coach Scott Naylor’s selection as player of the year, closely followed by the supporters’ choice of Top Gun.
Likely front-runners will be scrum-half Steve Roper and forwards Josh Crowley, Danny Langtree, Kenny Hughes, Michael Ward and Tyson, who was on loan from Salford last season but has now become a fully-fledged Oldham player.
Other new signings for 2015 are Jarrod Ward, Jake Hughes, Gareth Owen and Adam Neal, while another newcomer is expected to be unveiled in the next 24 hours.
Also coming soon will be a major announcement of a development that will also enhance future prospects on the playing side.
