Date published: 21 December 2015
Oldham RL Club have released a DVD of their promotion-clinching win against Keighley Cougars — the full game plus the celebrations — which completed a hugely successful season in League One.
Winning 19 of their 22 league games, they finished top to lift the League Leaders Shield and then beat
second-placed Cougars 31-20 in the Promotion Final. It was an historic day at Whitebank, the club receiving the League One championship rose bowl and earning a Championship spot.
Scott Naylor, later to be named League One coach of the year, led his young side to promotion at the third attempt, watched by a Whitebank record crowd of 1,405, after suffering Grand Final defeats in 2013 and 2014.
A limited number of DVDs are available, priced at £13.50, in time for Christmas. Ring the club on 07904898177.
