NEW-BOY Danny Grimshaw will be given a fitness test at training tomorrow, ahead of Oldham RL Club’s KP Championship opener against London Broncos.
One of four new signings, the 29-year-old former York and Hunslet half-back has been strong in pre-season games, but is doubtful with a leg injury for Sunday’s visit of the Broncos to Bower Fold, Stalybridge (3pm).
“He hasn’t trained this week, but we’ll take another look at him tomorrow and make a decision then,” said coach Scott Naylor.
With no dual-registration involvement and Craig Briscoe ruled out, Naylor will pick from 20.
The BBC will have a camera crew and presenter at the game for a feature on clubs outside Super League, which will go out next week on ‘Look North-West.’
