SWINTON Lions - nomads this season after their plans to play at Sedgley Park broke down - have confirmed their game with Oldham on Easter Monday will be at the home of Sale RU Club.
The game will kick-off at 3pm. It will be the first of three, maybe four, Championship clashes between last year’s League One promotion winners Oldham and Swinton, the results of which will go a long way to determining final places at the lower end of the Championship table.
Several Roughyeds players will be assessed tonight for injuries received in the defeat at Workington.
They will be led by captain Lewis Palfrey and back-row forward Danny Langtree, who both limped out of the Derwent Park game with dead legs a few minutes before the end,
Roughyeds entertain Cumbrian amateurs Kells at Bower Fold on Sunday (3pm) in the fourth round of the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup. Season tickets are not valid at cup-ties.
