OLDHAM crashed to a home defeat to Halifax after suffering from a first-half blitz.

Will Hope grabbed a double, wither side of another converted Saltonstall effort, with Steve Roper converting twice.
Oldham's Jamel Chisholm was next to cross in an action-packed contest, before Calahane's second which was added to by a Connor Robinson two-pointer.
Adam Clay managed two tries in the final 10 minutes, but Scott Naylor's men could not quite get within touching distance of the West Yorkshire side.
