OLDHAM are still without a win on the road in the Kingstone Press Championship after slipping to defeat at Halifax.
Ten points adrift at half-time, Scott Naylor's side responded with a Jamel Chisholm try and a Sam Gee goal, but Fax stood firm to claim the points at The Shay.
Matt Sarsfield went in twice for the hosts, while Steve Tyrer added a brace of goals.
Oldham remain third-bottom in the table.
