It's double delight for Saddleworth

THE Oldham Senior Schools' Girls' Cross-Country Championships were staged across a gruelling course at Oldham Edge.
In the end the team from Saddleworth emerged as overall victors, with Crompton House finishing runners-up and Newman third.
Saddleworth won two of the age group races, while Blue Coat won one and Crompton House another.
Results -
Year Seven: 1, Blue Coat; 2, Hulme; 3, Saddleworth. Year Eight: 1, Crompton House; 2, Saddleworth; 3, Hulme. Year Nine: 1, Saddleworth; 2, North Chadderton; 3, Crompton House, Years 10/11: 1, Saddleworth; 2, Crompton House; 3, Radclyffe.
Overall: 1, Saddleworth; 2, Crompton House; 3, Newman.
