IT was an action-packed multi-schools' under-13s table tennis tournament which took place at Hulme.
The eventual winners were Newman 'A', who boasted an impressive 100-per-cent record to pocket the title.
CLAIMED
Newman's 'B' team finished runners-up after they lost only one game all day - to the 'A' team.
Hosts Hulme claimed third place, while the team from Oasis were fourth.
A separate under-16s tournament was also held at the same venue.
Newman 'A' beat Hulme 'A' in the final, with Oasis defeating Newman 'B' to take third place.
