Undefeated Hulme are town kings

NINE teams from seven of Oldham's secondary schools took part in an action-packed Year Seven basketball competition at the Ball Hall.
The tournament was officiated by leaders from Blue Coat, Saddleworth and Failsworth schools, supported by centre staff and teachers.
After the group stages, teams took part in play-off matches to determine overall positions.
Failsworth finished fifth of the nine teams, while Newman were sixth, Blue Coat 'A' seventh, Saddleworth 'B' eighth and Blue Coat 'B' ninth.
PROGRESSED
The semi-finals saw Radclyffe face Saddleworth 'A' and Crompton House come up against Hulme.
Radclyffe and Hulme progressed to the final, meaning Saddleworth 'A' and Crompton House were tied for third place.
In the final, Hulme put in a dominant display, eventually beating Radclyffe 18 points to four as they completed the tournament unbeaten.
Radclyffe only lost to the eventual winners.
Hulme who will now go on to represent Oldham in the Greater Manchester School Games this summer.
