MORE TOURNAMENT SUCCESS . . . Oldham Netball Club under-14s
OLDHAM Netball Club's under-14s team - the reigning national champions - were merciless as they scorched to another tournament victory, this time at Brean Sands.
With two new players in the squad - shooter Grace Rimmer and defender Alex Johnson - Oldham brushed aside Eagles 14-2 in a dominant final victory.
Oldham notched nine goals on the run in the first half as the defence of Kasmin Narnor, Millie Marsden and Frankie Southern took the ball from the Eagles time and again.
Shooters Berri Neil and Alex Martin both produced 100-per-cent shooting statistics.
On their way to the final, unbeaten Oldham defeated Magnets 21-1, Saracens 15-5, Swan 20-0, Harriers 18-1, Star 23-1, Bar Becan 15-3, Hornets 26-2, Lawn 15-4 and Bedford 19-1.
