PRODUCTION LINE . . . these four Waterhead Warriors under-16 players all have bright futures in the game. They are (left to right): Bradley Hulme, Bradley Jinks, Callum Cameron and Liam Slicker.
"LIVING the dream" - that's how life has been described for three Waterhead Warriors young guns who have signed professional contracts with Super League clubs.
Second row forward Callum Cameron has joined Huddersfield Giants and half-back or hooker Bradley Jinks and prop or loose forward Liam Slicker both penned deals with current league leaders Castleford.
And another feather in the coaching cap for Mick Slicker Jnr - who is helped out training Waterhead's under-16s by Mick Snr and George Slicker - is that Bradley Hulme has received a call-up to the Wales under-16s squad to take on Ireland in a double-header next month.
"The lads have done well and they are lucky, too, to have the benefit of such know-how in the coaching," said callum's father Colin.
Waterhead has proven to be a conveyor belt of talent in recent years. Nathan Mason and Josh Johnson are first-teamers at Huddersfield and Hull KR respectively, teenager Oliver Russell is bubbling under with the Giants and Matthew Fletcher (17) is at Bradford Bulls.
