DANIEL NEWALL followed up his victory in the under-15s boys singles with doubles success in the Dunlop Oldham Junior tennis tournament, staged at Tame Valley Tennis Club.
Daniel took the singles title courtesy of a tie-break win over Simon Berry after they had won a set each 6-3.
He then partnered Joseph Banks to a 6–4, 6-3 win over Simon Berry and James Lord in the doubles final.
Chloe Oldham won the under-15s girls singles, defeating Savanna Ramsbottom 6-1, 6-3, while the girls under-18s title went to Jessica Banks, a 6-2, 6-1 winner against Phillipa Heyes.
In the under-18s boys, Andrew Pearce was the winner, 6-2, 6-3 against Bradley Heap.
Ashley Heap and Jessica Banks teamed up to win the under-18s girls doubles in the tie break against Phillipa Heyes and Kate Hoggard after they had reached 6-2, 4-6.
The boys under-18s doubles went to Andrew Pearce and Bradley Heap, 6-3, 6-2 winners against Alex Nye and Liam Stafford.
