THE new season started with a bang for Oldham St Anne’s, who defeated Folly Lane 36-26 at home in division one of the North-West Counties Youth League.
Greg Worrall and Michael Arrowsmith both caught the eye with their respective performances, with Ben Marsden picking up the man-of-the-match award.
Saints face another home game on Sunday, against Thatto Heath.
